Friends 'til the end! I knew the first Child's Play, and I'm almost sure I had seen the original two sequels, but it really wasn't until Universal took over the franchise and gave us Bride of Chucky that the wave of home video releases brought me to the true joys of Chucky. The original I remembered mostly for Dinah Manoff, who I was very familiar with from TV's Empty Nest. Once I moved to Chicago, I got more and more vested into the production and the shooting locations, including The Brewster which I lived next door to for a few years. I've probably looked up at that window more than anyone 😁. The original elevator and iron work are still present, which is very reminiscent of another famous filming location-the Bradbury Building in Downtown Los Angeles.
